My Purpose in Cinematography

In my personal experience, whenever I tell people that I’m a cinematographer, their first thought is a romance movie or a classic movie from the 90’s. It’s not completely inaccurate, but there is a lot more that you can do with a cinematic approach.

I view cinematography as an amazing way to tell a story with attention to detail, create a deeper meaning, and leave an impression on people's way of seeing the bigger picture. Throughout our lives, we hear all kinds of stories that people are able to learn from, reminisce on, or relate to. With the vision I have I want to be able to utilize my skill to present the people I work with a story that people want to rewatch, and have a memory to always look back on.
